Sandra Bruce is the small business owner of  Clarity Counseling Center of Ellis County, INC. Her vision is to develop a full- time practice in order to better serve the needs of Ellis County. She is a seasoned clinician with over 28 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor. For 18 years, she has operated at the top of her license with a supervisor status. Prior to opening her practice in 2015, she served in several Clinical Director positions within the DFW area. She has been selected to speak as a subject-matter expert on addiction. She also has published newspaper articles relating to addiction, relationships, Alzheimer's, and women.

Excellent Counseling at An Affordable Price

No Cost Alzheimer's/ Dementia Support Group for Caregivers - 4th Saturday of each month at 2pm. RSVP required. 

Individual therapy -$75 for 1 hour; 

$90  for 1.5 hour session.

Groups - $50 (1.5 hours per session)
Intake (Individual) Session: $50, and no cost for Group #1.
Group #2 and beyond: $50.

How to prepare for a Telehealth appointment:

  • At time of your session, you will receive an email link to log-on to SimplePractice.
  • Identify a suitable room that is quiet, private, and free of distractions.
  • Keep background noise to minimum: close doors, shut windows, turn off the television, and place pets in another room. 
  • Consider hanging a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door to avoid interruptions.

 Clarity Counseling Center of Ellis County, INC. takes your Privacy and Confidentiality seriously. 


Confidentiality

Clients can expect all information regarding their treatment to remain confidential except for legal or ethical requirements.

Confidentiality and Minors

It is important to maintain a certain level of confidentiality, even with minor children under the age of 18, in order to establish a positive rapport. However, immediate safety concerns are an exception to privacy and confidentiality. Confidentiality between the clinician and child will be addressed prior to treatment.

Exceptions to Confidentiality

  • Suspicion of abuse or neglect to a minor child, elderly individual, or mentally impaired individual.
  • If it is believed that a client will harm himself/herself or someone else, licensed professionals are obligated to contact the appropriate law enforcement and/or medical officials.
  • If the clinical record is subpoena by a court of law.
